Doctor’s answer
Return depends on fracture pattern, restoration of the joint surface, cartilage and meniscus injury, fixation stability, and rehabilitation quality. Bone healing, knee motion, lower-limb strength, and balance usually need to recover before gradually returning to running, jumping, and sport-specific training. Weight bearing too early may affect joint-surface recovery.
