Sports-related back and leg pain
What exercise is suitable for lumbar spinal stenosis?

Doctor’s answer
Cycling, swimming, interval walking, core stability, and hip strengthening are often preferred. Leg pain or numbness after walking a distance that improves with bending forward or resting may indicate neurogenic claudication. Progressive weakness, bowel or bladder changes, or saddle numbness requires prompt medical attention.
